The follow up to the hugely popular Cherry Mobile Flare has just been officially announced with an SRP of Php3,999 and is scheduled to go on sale tomorrow at SM North starting 1pm onwards.
At the launch event earlier today, the Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0 was revealed to have a brand-spanking new quad core processor, a 4″ IPS display, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage while running Jelly Bean 4.2 out of the box. Not bad since it’s retailing at the same price as its predecessor.
The processor is a 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8225Q, which is basically a quad core version of the original Flare’s MSM8225. You’re getting more cores, yes, but it’s the same Cortex-A5 cores at work on either device. You’re also getting the same Adreno 203 to power through games. Coupled with 512MB of RAM, it might not be the best configuration on the market, but at Php3,999, who’s complaining?
Other key features include a 5mp autofocus camera, VGA front camera, 3G/HSPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and dual SIM functionality. Also, the battery is rated at 1,550mAh. Looking to grab it as soon as possible? Cherry Mobile SM North Edsa will be putting it on sale tomorrow (September 21, 2013) from 1pm onwards.

I went their at SM north EDSA to see if their so many consumers who will buy this new Flare 2.0. but not really as many as I expected.
