Those of you who were disappointed by the Flare 2.0‘s 512MB RAM have probably been holding out for the release of the Flare 2X, the rumored next gen Flare variant with 1GB RAM. Well, it’s a rumor no more as it has just been revealed by Cherry Mobile SM North EDSA on their Facebook page.
As speculated, the Cherry Mobile Flare 2X features a 4 inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, 1.2GHz quad core MSM8225Q processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Other key specs include a 5mp autofocus camera, VGA front camera, 3G/HSPA, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. It’s basically the Flare 2.0 but with more RAM, although it hasn’t been revealed yet if it uses an IPS panel, MVA or basic TN.

i already did though … pero nagbavibrate pa rin sya when a call or sms comes … what should i do?
yah. I already did, but it still has vibration…
i have the Flare 2x for a week now. i installed Go Launcher Ex and it works better than the one on my Xperia Arc S…no lag at all on the Flare 2x! one downside i notice is when i use the GO SMS, there’s no prompt which sim you will choose to send the sms if you’re using dual sim.
to remove the vibrate feature when using the go to language and input, go to Android keyboard settings then untick “vibrate on keypress”
charging the flare 2x takes ages :(
performance wise…it’s better than the 2.0…

GO SMS was only made for single sim android phones.
Wrong, it does support dual sim. Check their changelogs. But only to well known brands but some cherry phones are supported with Mediatek chipset, i saw one from a friend.

nope it wont… there is a white version of the flare 2x… you might like that one than the 2.0..
