HMD’s new entry-level phone, the Vibe 2 5G, is live with a big but low-resolution display, a UNISOC chip, a big battery, and a sharp rear camera.
The HMD Vibe 2 5G boasts a tall 6.75-inch IPS display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate but only an HD+ resolution. That’s big enough to conceal the generous 6,000mAh battery behind it, which is only paired with an 18W charger.

Under the hood, we have the UNISOC T8200 octa-core processor, with up to 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot that can accommodate up to 1TB.
On the back, we have a 50-megapixel main camera, joined by an auxiliary lens, and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter on the front in a dated waterdrop notch.

The HMD Vibe 2 is now in India with a starting price of INR10,999 (~Php7,100). It’s available in a 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB models.
