HONOR has beefed up its sub-flagship line by introducing the HONOR 300 Ultra.
The HONOR 300 Ultra is a first for the series and will join the also-new HONOR 300 and 300 Pro. The Ultra has a lot of similarities to the Pro, with the addition of a 50-megapixel periscope lens with 3.8x optical zoom capabilities.
There’s also a 50-megapixel main sensor that uses an IMX906 sensor from Sony and has optical image stabilization. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter completes the trio. The Harcourt Portrait modes are also making a comeback.
Another 50-megapixel camera is on the front for selfies, joined by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. They sit on top of the 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness.
HONOR put a large 5,300mAh non-removable battery, with support for a whopping 100W wired and 80W wireless charging.
As a cherry on top, it will ship with Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0, the latest WiFi 7 standard, dual satellite messaging and calls for China, and IP65 dust and water resistance.
The HONOR 300 Ultra has a price of CNY4,199 (~Php33,600) for the 12GB/512GB and CNY4,699 (~Php37,600) for the 16GB/1TB. It’s now listed in China but no word yet if it’s coming to the Philippines and other territories.
