HONOR went all-out with their latest high-end phone, the HONOR GT Pro.
If you want extra features with much better cameras, go with the Magic7 Pro, their proper flagship phone. But if you’re a heavy user who games a lot or binge-watches content for hours, then check out the HONOR GT Pro, which features a whopping 7,200mAh battery.
No actual figures were given, but you should get 10+ hours of gaming on a single charge or two to three days of light to moderate usage. Charging is done via the 90W adapter, which should take around an hour and fifteen minutes to fully charge the beefy battery.
For the processor, it’s got a proper flagship chip with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite. It is apparently the Leading Edition, which has an overclocked Oryon prime CPU at 4.47GHz and an Adreno GPU clocked at 1.2GHz — essentially the same as the chip found on the Galaxy S25 series.
HONOR really went all out with the numbers on this one, as it also comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
An extra-bright 6.78-inch LTPO OLED screen is on the front, with a peak local brightness of 6,000 nits. It also has a 1-144Hz variable refresh rate and Giant Rhino Glass protection. You can also expect impressive stereo speakers out of this one.
Despite its gamer-y look and feel, the HONOR GT Pro still packs appealing photography features. We got a 50-megapixel IMX906 main sensor from Sony, joined by a 50-megapixel IMX856 with a 3x telephoto lens, and another 50-megapixel sensor for the ultra-wide lens.
HONOR also used an ultra-sharp 50-megapixel sensor for selfies.
The HONOR GT Pro is available in China with a price of CNY3,699 (~Php28,600) for the 12GB/256GB, CNY3,999 (~Php30,900) for the 12GB/512GB, CNY4,299 (~Php33,300) for the 16GB/512GB, and CNY4,799 (~Php37,100) for the 16GB/1TB. No word yet if it’s coming out of China, including the Philippines.
