HONOR has released not one, but two new foldable phones. Here we have a cheaper model of the two, the HONOR Magic Vs3.
The HONOR Magic Vs3 is thicker than the also-new Magic V3 at 9.8mm (vs 9.2mm), but is still 0.1mm thinner than the Magic V2, which used to be the thinnest foldable phone in the world before these two new successors came out.
Since it’s also cheaper, the device is powered by the last generation’s flagship chip, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. HONOR also put a lower-resolution 8-megapixel periscope telephoto, but the 50-megapixel main and 40-megapixel ultra-wide cameras are identical.
The main foldable screen is a 7.92-inch AMOLED screen while the one on the outside is a 6.43-inch cover display. Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery with the same 66W wired and 50W wireless charging support as the Magic V3.
Now listed in China, the HONOR Magic Vs3 has a price of CNY6,999 (~Php56,300) for the 12GB/256GB, CNY7,699 (~Php61,900) for the 12GB/512GB, and CNY8,999 (~Php72,500) for the 16GB/1TB. No word yet if it will be available on the global stage.
