HONOR just announced a couple of new smartphones and tablets, which include the HONOR Pad X9.
The HONOR Pad X9 is essentially the global version of the Pad X8 Pro that came out earlier in China. This means that we’re getting the same 11.5-inch IPS display with a decent 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution, and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
Great for media consumption, the Pad X9 comes with six speakers: Two on both sides and another two at the bottom. The bottom-firing drivers are meant to bounce sound for 360-degree audio, which is also made possible by HONOR Histen.
It has a 7,250mAh battery, which is definitely not the biggest for an 11.5-inch tablet, but was enough to keep it thin at only 6.9mm. It weighs 495g, which is acceptable but not the lightest due to its all-metal body.

Powering this machine is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 octa-core processor. It only comes with a WiFi variant, but a future model might enable its 4G connectivity.
Finally, it ships with the latest Android 13-based MagicOS 7.1 interface. The company knows that a lot of people will get it for their children, hence, it has support for Google Kids Space and Family Link app.

The HONOR Pad X9 WiFi/4GB/128GB retails for EUR250 (~Php15,200) in the United Kingdom and Germany. Release details in the Philippines are yet to be known.
