One of the most advanced and lavish smartphones in the world is here as the HUAWEI Mate XT launches in the Philippines.
The HUAWEI Mate XT is the first market available phone with a tri-fold design. It features an LTPO OLED display with a sharp 3184 x 2232 pixel resolution. When opened all the way out, you can get a gigantic 10.2-inch screen akin to tablets.
Despite having triple folds, the Mate XT Ultimate is still incredibly thin at just 12.8mm when folded and razer-thin at just 3.6mm when completely unfolded.
It also has a well-designed inward and outward hinges that should stand the test of time. For the full premium feel, it has a vegan leather material that looks great in its Red hero color with gold accents on on the corners, the hinges, and the eonic curves in the camera.
Speaking of the camera, HUAWEI didn’t skimp in the photography features of the Mate XT Ultimate. It has a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture, 12-megapixel periscope glass with 5.5x optical zoom, 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and 8-megapixel for selfies.
It also uses a silicon-carbon battery that enables for a high density 5,600mAh capacity despite its thin size. It then runs on the Android-based EMUI 14.2 instead of the HarmonyOS 4.2 from the Chinese version.
