HUAWEI’s second tri-folding smartphone is here. Meet the HUAWEI Mate XTs Ultimate.
Judging from its name and features, the HUAWEI Mate XTs Ultimate is barely a successor to the first Mate XT Ultimate from last year. Designs are exactly the same, but you do get new colorways.
It still has that large 10.2-inch LTPO OLED 3K display with three hinges. There’s no dedicated cover screen; there’s the third panel of the main display for that. We also have a 90Hz refresh rate with 1,800-nit peak brightness and support for a stylus.
Fold it once, and you get a 7.9-inch display; fold it the third time, and you get that 6.4-inch cover display that’s still more than enough for day-to-day use.
It then has an upgraded Kirin 9020 processor, the same chip found on the Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Ultra. It is paired with up to 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a 5,600mAh battery with 66W wired, 50W wireless, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.
We then have the latest HarmonyOS 5.1 with a suite of AI features for improved productivity and creativity. It also enjoys an upgraded ultra-wide camera.
The HUAWEI Mate XTs Ultimate 16GB/256GB retails for CNY17,999 (~Php143,400), 16GB/512GB for CNY19,999 (~Php159,300), 16GB/1TB for CNY21,999 (~Php175,300) or CNY22,499 (~Php179,200) with a stylus.
