HUAWEI’s new sub-flagship phone is now official. Meet the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max.
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max is the first smartphone in the market to have a fancy 200-megapixel RYYB 1/1.28-inch sensor, with a 4x telephoto lens, and an f/2.6 aperture. It also boasts 20x telephoto video with real-time RAW processing and CIPA 7.0 stabilization.
We then have the 50-megapixel 1/1.28-inch RYYB LOFIC main sensor, with an impressive f/1.4-f/4.0 adjustable aperture and OIS.
We also have a 40-megapixel RYYB ultra-wide shooter and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera with autofocus.
Moving on from the cameras, the Pura 90s Pro Max has a gigantic 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Kunlun Glass protection. It is powered by a Kirin 9030S processor, with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Keeping the lights on is a large 6,000mAh battery, paired with very fast 100W and 80W wired and wireless charging, respectively. Instead of HarmonyOS, they run on Android 16-based EMUI 16.
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max 12GB/512GB was spotted in Malaysia with an SRP of MYR4,899 (~Php74,200). We’ll see if it’s really going to be that expensive here in the Philippines once local availability details are revealed.
