The Infinix HOT 50 Pro Plus has been unveiled as a budget smartphone with an incredibly thin design.
As per the company, the Infinix HOT 50 Pro Plus is only 6.8mm, making it the “world’s slimmest 3D-curved SlimEdge design” smartphone. It has curves on the back and on its 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a high 120Hz refresh rate.
It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 octa-core processor, which means it lacks 5G connectivity. But, you do get it with a generous 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage and, despite its thinness, a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
A new camera design is on the back, which holds the 50-megapixel main camera and what could be a depth sensor. An 8-megapixel selfie camera is on the front, along with the in-display fingerprint scanner.
Keeping the lights on is the usual 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support over USB-C.
As a cherry on top, the HOT 50 Pro Plus gets an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, as well as JBL-tuned stereo speakers.
Like its predecessors, the Infinix HOT 50 Pro Plus should also arrive in the Philippines soon. Stay tuned for the local pricing and availability.
