Infinix has introduced one of the thinnest smartphones you can get on a budget, the Infinix HOT 50.

The new Infinix HOT 50 is only 7.8mm thin, while most phones in this segment average at a round 8mm. It also sports a new camera island design on the back, a build that’s been IP54-rated for being dust and splash-resistant, and has a Wet Touch display function.

That said island holds a 50-megapixel main camera that uses a Sony IMX582 sensor. As with most Infinix budget phones, it doesn’t get to have an ultra-wide lens. Instead, you’re left with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an unknown tertiary shooter.

A decent 8-megapixel selfie camera is on the front, sitting on top of the large 6.7-inch IPS screen, which only has an HD+ resolution, but a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

Powering the device is a decent MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor that offers 5G connectivity. You then get an option between 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage.

As with most phones in this category, the HOT 50 comes with a 5,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging. It ships with Android 14-based XOS 14.5 interface.
