Infinix has introduced the new Note 40 series. There’s the Note 40 Pro Plus, which we’ll be talking about in a separate article. Today, we’ll be taking a look at the vanilla Note 40, the Note 40 Pro, and the Note 40 Pro 5G.
Like the Pro Plus model, the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G has a fancy 6.78-inch AMOLED curved display with a high 120Hz refresh rate. It also boasts a 108-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and the same MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor.

Being the cheaper model, the charging speed was dropped to 45W from 100W, but do have the same impressive 20W wireless charging with Infinix‘s MagKit technology, which is basically similar to the iPhones’ MagSafe.
The whole series will also get 2 major OS upgrades and 3 years of security patches. Not the most impressive update commitment, but still acceptable, considering the price.

Pricing starts at USD290 (~Php16,100) for the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G. Release details in the Philippines for the whole series are yet to be known.

It also has the same curved screen and 20W MagKit charging support.

Select markets can now get the Infinix Note 40 4G for a price of USD260 (~Php14,500).

Finally, we have the vanilla Infinix Note 40. It now has a flat screen instead of the curved panels that its bigger brothers have. It also has a different 108-megapixel camera that uses a 1/1.52-inch ISOCELL sensor instead of a 1/1.67-inch like the Pros. Plus, no more OIS.
Charging is the same with the Pro 5G. Plus, it has stereo speakers tuned by JBL and has an IP54 splashproof rating.

The Infinix Note 40 retails for USD199 (~Php11,100). Again, pricing and availability details in the Philippines are yet to be known, so stay tuned for that.
