Infinix has introduced the Smart 8 Pro in India — a new entry-level phone with a sharp camera and an efficient operating system.
The Infinix Smart 8 Pro, which we expect to also arrive in the Philippines, has a sharp 50-megapixel main camera, joined by an AI lens, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
It has a big 6.6-inch LCD with, as expected, only an HD+ resolution, but did manage to have a high 90Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, it comes with a MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core processor, with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage. It’s not the fastest chip around, hence the Android 13 Go-based XOS 13 the device is running with.
The Infinix Smart 8 Pro has a price of INR7,499 (~Php5,100) and will be initially available in India. Release details in other markets are yet to be known.
