Itel has introduced the A50c in India, an even cheaper alternative to the already affordable Itel A50.
The Itel A50c has a lot of similarities over the A50. For starters, they both use a UNISOC T603 octa-core processor, an 8-megapixel main camera on the back, a 5-megapixel on the front, and a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display.
However, the A50c has a smaller 4,000mAh battery, something that we haven’t seen in a long while as a big majority of phones today — even in the budget segment — already have a 5,000mAh capacity. Charging support is only at 5W.
Itel also dropped the RAM and storage capacity to 2GB/32GB, while the A50 enjoys 3GB/4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
Other standard Itel features are here like the Dynamic Bar, which shows a dynamic animation around the waterdrop notch when you’re charging, on call, and when unlocking the device.
It also has a USB-C port, the power-efficient Android 14 Go edition, a fingerprint scanner and face unlock combo, and an iPhone 15-like camera layout on the back.
The Itel A50c has a price of Php3,799 in the Philippines.
