The Edge 40 series continues to grow as Motorola announces the Edge 40 Neo, a pretty fancy midrange smartphone.
With the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, you’re getting a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7030 processor, aided by a generous 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
There’s a flagship-level 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED curved display on the front complete with a high 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling, and 10-bit color. It also has an HDR10+ certification and a fingerprint scanner underneath the screen.
A punch-hole cutout on top of the display holds the selfie camera. On the back, we have a 50-megapixel main shooter with OIS, joined by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide that also works for macro shots.
Keeping the lights on is the usual 5,000mAh battery, paired with a fast 68W adapter. It will ship with the Android 13 operating system and has support for Moto Connect and Ready For.
Motorola is also highlighting how the Edge 40 Neo is “made to last and love” with its IP68 rating and promotes sustainability as it comes with completely plastic-free packaging.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a price of EUR399 (~Php24,300) in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It comes in three colors: Pantone Soothing Sea and Pantone Caneel Bay with vegan leather backs, while the Pantone Black Beauty is made of acrylic. They will come with matching protective cases from Agood Company, which will repurpose the case once you’re with it to reduce waste.
