Motorola has unveiled the 2022 versions of its popular midrange phones, the Moto G Stylus 5G and Moto G 5G.
First, we have the Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G 2022. This one boasts an enormous 6.8-inch screen, giving you a roomy canvas to use the stylus on. It’s fast, too, with its 120Hz refresh rate with an apt FHD+ pixel resolution.
Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor, one of Qualcomm’s cheapest 5G-equipped chipsets. It’s paired with 8GB of RAM, a generous 256GB of storage, and runs on the brand’s My UX interface that’s based on Android 12.
Like the screen, we also have a large 5,000mAh battery with TurboPower charging. The main camera is quite fancy with its 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization, joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The Moto G Stylus 5G 2022 will be available in the US starting April 28 for a price of USD499 (around Php26,100).

We also have the Motorola Moto G 5G 2022 as a cheaper option. It’s powered by the trusty MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor, which can be had with the only RAM and storage option: 6GB/256GB.
It still has a sharp 50-megapixel camera sans the OIS. It also lacks an ultra-wide lens as you’d only be getting a 2-megapixel macro lens.
Being an affordable option, the G 5G only has an HD+ resolution in a smaller 6.5-inch panel.
Like the former, it also has a large 5,000mAh battery. Just like its cousins, the G 5G 2022 will come with a water-repellent design.
The Motorola Moto G 5G 2022 retails in the US for USD399 (around Php20,900) and will be available starting May 19. The release details of both models in the Philippines are yet to be known.
