MyPhone just dropped another unexpected bomb! While Filipinos were having a hard time choosing between MyPhone A919 and A898, they just unveiled another one which was oddly named as MyPhone A888 Duo. The MyPhone A888 strikes a huge resemblance of the look of MyPhone’s hottest android phone this season – the MyPhone A919 Duo. But it’s not limited to that as it boasts almost the same hardware configuration of its bigger brother.
As for its key feature, it sports a qHD IPS display (540×960 pixels) which means that images on the MyPhone A888 will be better and sharper than the A919 as it has about 245PPI. If you’re accustomed to smartphones with good screen display and the low PPI of A919 Duo is holding you back, then the A888 will be a prominent alternative for a more satisfying viewing experience. Don’t get me wrong, 480×800 pixel resolution on a 5-inch screen is not bad, but this one sure is a notch finer. Beefed up with its sophisticated design, this is perhaps a head-turner in the making!

after researching and reading every info about Myphone A888 duo
comparing with the Cherry mobile blaze i prefer Myphone because of the
QUALITY as per bloggers. i just bought this 3 days ago May4th and so far
my comments in terms of:
the promo dates last March30 and
April30 in sm naga had NO SALE or any promo in store and if ask for the
product they said they’re out of stock on that specific dates. i had no
choice still i chose the black model of a888 duo for the same
introductory price of P7455 since december 2012 and since no promo was
given twice on march and april of 2013 i could not wait;
on the
next day, just after the purchase i had an issue after the INITIAL
CHARGING of the phone, i was unable to open the phone and the screen was
like a static gray tv i did not remove the battery for them to see, so i
had it exchanged at the mall giving me the white version and informing
me that i CAN ONLY EXCHANGE ONCE, that’s for the 1year warranty for
parts and services? what’s my assurance it won’t happen again?
the 8 mpx camera is definitely clear with nice resolution but haven’t tried it outside at night;
the
info of 4GB internal memory to my dismay was not found when i checked
on the phone settings only showing 1gb internal memory, so what happened
to the rest of it?
pretty much the phone is moving fast from the screen, to the wifi
connection, to the camera, there was no problem about it after the
exchange, im just a little disappointed…
can anybody help me how to use my video call in my phone A888? please…

we should patronize Philippine products so we can help our country’s economy..buying this phone is a step to help filipino businessman to be more motivated and competitive enough to create more innovative phones that is really wise to use with a reasonable price to offer..kaya natin to mga pinoy!!…..bkit pa supportahan ang china phones or ibang high end phones kung meron naman taung sariling atin…
all of these things are manufactured in China you dumbass; MyPhone just takes them here and rebrands them or sources them from the same OEM which is again, in China. Blind nationalism is idiotic.
