The price for the OPPO A57 2022 in the Philippines has been revealed before its official local release.
In a Facebook post, OPPO Philippines announced that the OPPO A57 2022 is “coming soon” in the country. While the official launch date was not mentioned, a couple of dealers online have already posted the device revealing its local price.
But before getting into it, let’s first talk about what this device offers. Sitting in the below-Php10,000 price segment, the new A57 is powered by the aging Helio G35 octa-core processor from MediaTek. The local variant we’ll be getting has 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM with virtual RAM expansion that adds up to 4GB of memory by borrowing from the storage.
On the front, we have the usual 6.56-inch display with an HD+ pixel resolution. The battery has a 5,000mAh capacity with 33W fast charging support.
The device also managed to have a stereo speaker setup for a better watching, listening, and gaming experience. It is also IP53-rated for having protection against water splashes and dust.
Software is handled by the latest Android 12 operating system with OPPO’s ColorOS 12.1 UI on top. A semi-retro design highlight the back as it holds the 13-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor on the top left.
A couple of listings on Facebook reveal that the OPPO A57 has a price of Php8,999 in the Philippines. Availability details are yet to be unveiled.
