The OPPO A5i is now out and shares a lot of similarities to the also-new A5i, which has already arrived in the Philippines.
If you can’t wait for its release in the Philippines, you can go with the Pro model instead, as it shares a lot of similarities with the OPPO A5i. Both models have the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 processor, 6.67-inch HD+ 90Hz display, and 45W fast charging.
Due to its cheaper price, the A5i only has a 5,100mAh battery, while the Pro enjoys a bigger 6,000mAh capacity. The IP65 ingress protection rating was also dropped to IP54.
Both share the same 5-megapixel selfie camera, while the rear shooter was downgraded to 8-megapixels from 50-megapixels.
Pricing and availability details for the OPPO A5i are yet to be known. Meanwhile, the OPPO A5i Pro is now listed in the Philippines with an SRP of Php8,699.
