OPPO’s latest high-end device, the K9 Pro, has been unveiled.
The OPPO K9 Pro is powered by one of MediaTek’s most powerful chipsets to date, the Dimensity 1200. It consists of one “Ultra core”, which is a Cortex-A78 clocked at 3GHz. Plus, three regular Cortex-A78 at 2.6GHz and 4x Cortex-A55 efficiency cores at 2GHz. There’s a special dissipation system to keep it cool.
To complement the powerful chip, the K9 Pro features a fast 120Hz 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with up to 180Hz touch sampling when in game mode.
The 4,500mAh battery can go from 0% to 50% with its 60W fast charging technology.
For the best possible gaming experience, OPPO rigged it with linear motors for 4D vibration and stereo speakers. WiFi 6 to prevent lags, and NFC for cashless transactions.
It also boasts a quite unique design with the branding printed in military font, adjacent to the cameras.
Speaking of which, the camera in the middle has a 64-megapixel sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide on top of it, and a macro lens below. There’s a 16-megapixel selfie-taker on the top left of the screen.
The OPPO K9 Pro comes in two flavors. There’s the 8GB/128GB model for CNY2,199 (around Php17,400), while the 12GB/256GB is priced at CNY2,699 (around Php21,400). It will be available in China on September 30, while release details in the Philippines and other markets are yet to be known.
