Oukitel has announced a new budget-friendly tablet with a large and sharp display and an enormous battery, and it’s called the Oukitel OT5.

The new Oukitel OT5 has a large 12-inch LCD display with a sharp 2K resolution and a sturdy Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It works with a stylus, and can even be had with a case with a cover that folds into a stand. Get it with a wireless keyboard and you have a laptop-like experience.

Under the hood, it is powered by the trusty MediaTek Helio G99 processor, with 256GB of storage, and a large 12GB of RAM for multitasking.

A 5-megapixel selfie camera is on top, while on the back, the OT5 managed to have a dual-camera setup: a 16-megapixel main shooter and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

Keeping the lights on is a generous 11,000mAh battery, albeit paired with a slow 18W charging.

It may not be the thinnest tablet around, but it’s still thinner than most phones at only 7.5mm. It then ships with the Android 13 operating system.

The Oukitel OT5 is now listed on the brand’s official website for USD179.99 (around Php9,900) and has a “world premiere date” of November 11, 2023, limited to 300 units.
