Apart from its flagship line, POCO has also released a new budget friendly smartphone, the POCO X8.
Launched alongside the POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra, the POCO X8 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor, with up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage.
A big highlight here is the generous 8,340mAh battery, with 22.5W reverse wired charging so you can use it like a power bank.
The device itself charges at flagship-grade speeds at 67W. POCO also claims it can retain at least 80% of its battery health after 1,600 cycles.
There’s a large 6.83-inch AMOLED screen on the front, with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and 3,500-nit peak brightness. It also has 3200Hz instant touch sampling and 12-bit color.
A 16-megapixel selfie camera is on top of the display, while the rear has a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The device is also IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K dust- and water-resistant. It ships with Android 16-based HyperOS 3.
The POCO X8 is available in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB configuration. Price starts at EUR399.99 (~Php29,000).
