realme’s latest midrange phone, the realme 16T, has made its way to the Philippines.
The realme 16T will try to lure people in with its enormous battery. It’s an 8,000mAh capacity that lasts for 2 days under normal use or up to 14.2 hours of gaming or 25 hours of watching YouTube videos.
That battery is backed by a 45W wired charger. Bypass charging is also supported that keeps the device cool when you’re gaming. Reverse charging is also here, so you can share the battery with other devices, like a power bank.
realme also promises the battery can stay healthy even after 7 years, which is good for futureproofing.
Another highlight here is the selfie mirror on the back, allowing you to take selfies with the 50-megapixel main camera.
A 16-megapixel front-facing camera sits on top of a large 6.81-inch AMOLED screen that has a high 144Hz refresh rate, but only with HD+ resolution.
It ships with Android 16-based realme UI 7.0. There’s no confirmation as to how long realme will be supporting this device, but they did say the device provides a “6-year smooth performance”.
The realme 16T has an SRP of Php22,999 for the 8GB/128GB and Php24,999 for the 8GB/256GB. For a limited time, you can get it in Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok for only Php15,731 and Php17,387, respectively, and with a free Laifen SE Lite fan worth Php3,999.
Pre-order in stores until September 3 to get the same freebie, Php2,000 discount, a privilege card (6-month extended warranty + 6-month screen damage protection plan), and another Php500 when you get it with Home Credit with the code REALME16T500.
It will then be available in stores starting September 4. Until the 15th, you get a Php2,000 discount, privilege card, and a Php500 Home Credit discount.
