We’re only three months in on the year 2020 and Realme has already launched a bunch of new smartphones. This time, we have the new Realme 6i.
As the name suggest, the Realme 6i is the younger sibling of the Realme 6 and 6 Pro. It’s been stripped off of a few flashy features to achieve that cheaper, but still reliable enough profile.
This thing boasts a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS screen. No fast 90Hz refresh rate or punch-hole cutout. Instead, we’re getting a traditional waterdrop notch for the 16-megapixel selfie camera.
Meanwhile, we have the quad-camera setup on the back, led by a 48-megapixel primary shooter. It’s available in White Milk and Green Tea color options.
It may not have the fancy features that its bigger brothers have, but the Realme 6i does seem to come with uncompromised hardware on the inside.
This device is the first to use the latest MediaTek Helio G80 processor and runs on the latest Android 10 with Realme UI. It also boasts a generous 5,000mAh battery — a normal sight in budget smartphones like this — and thankfully, a USB Type-C with 18W fast charging.

The Realme 6i will be available KS299,900 (~Php10,900) for the 4GB/128GB and KS249,900 (~Php9,100) for the 3GB/64GB model. It will be available for pre-order in Myanmar from March 18 to 26, and comes with a free shirt and Bluetooth speaker. Sales will start on March 29.
Its release details here in the Philippines is yet to be announced, so stay tuned for that.
