After the release of the GT7 Pro a few months ago, realme finally came up with a more affordable version, the Realme GT7.
The realme GT7 boasts an extra-large 7,200mAh battery — even higher than the GT7 Pro‘s already substantial 6,500mAh capacity. It comes with 100W Super Flash Charge support that provides a 5% charge in just a minute. Bypass charging is also supported, which delivers power directly to the motherboard.
It comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The improved cooling system, which includes the conductive glass fiber rear panel, helps improve thermals for both the processor and charging speeds.
Despite its battery, the GT7 is actually smaller than the Pro. It’s only 8.25mm thin (vs 8.6mm) and weighs 203g (vs. 223g). It is also IP69 dust and water resistant.
A 6.8-inch AMOLED screen is on the front with a high 144Hz refresh rate, 1,800-nit peak brightness, DC dimming, HDR, and 10-bit colors.
There’s a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front, a 50-megapixel main shooter on the back with optical image stabilization, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide.
The realme GT7 is now available in China with a price of CNY2,599 (~Php20,100) for the 12GB/256GB, CNY2,899 (~Php22,400) for the 16GB/256GB, CNY2,999 (~Php23,100) for the 12GB/512GB, CNY3,299 (~Php25,500) for the 16GB/512GB, and CNY3,799 (~Php29,300) for the 16GB/1TB. Details regarding the global version are yet to be known.
