nubia is beating Apple and Samsung on their “Air” devices by releasing the new RedMagic 10 Air, a distinctively thin smartphone with gaming-centric specs.
The RedMagic 10 Air is only 7.85mm thin. Definitely not the thinnest smartphone in the market, but noticeably more compact than other gaming phones around.
What’s more impressive is, despite its thinness, it managed to come with a large 6,000mAh battery, paired with a speedy 80W charging.
It ships with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. That’s last generation’s flagship chip, but still powerful nonetheless. You can get it with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
A large 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen is on the front, with 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300-nit peak brightness, and Nubia’s under-display selfie camera technology with 16-megapixel sensor.
Two 50-megapixel cameras are on the back for the main and ultra-wide lenses. Made for gaming, it has capacitive shoulder triggers and a complex cooling system. No fans, though, unlike the RedMagic 10 Pro.
The RedMagic 10 Air retails for CNY3,499 (~Php26,900) for the 12GB/256GB model and CNY4,199 (~Php32,400) for the 16GB/512GB. It is now available in China with international release details to be revealed on April 23.
