One of Xiaomi’s most popular midrange lines just got a refresh for 2026. Check out the new Redmi Note 17.
The Redmi Note 17 has an enormous 7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 1,800-nit peak brightness.

That gigantic display is paired with a large 8,000mAh battery, which Redmi claims can last for up to 10 hours of GPS navigation and 22 hours of watching short videos. Xiaomi claims it retains at least 80% of its battery health after 1,600 charge cycles.
It is paired with a relatively slow 45W wired charger, with 22.5W reverse charging support so you can share the battery with other devices.

Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, a 4nm chip paired with an Adreno 613 GPU, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
For the cameras, we have an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a single 50-megapixel shooter on the back.

The Redmi Note 17 has a starting price of CNY1,299 (~Php11,800) and is now listed in China. Global release details, including the Philippines, are yet to be known.
