Xiaomi’s sub-brand has a new big-screen midrange tablet, the Redmi Pad Pro.
The Redmi Pad Pro boasts an enormous 12.1-inch IPS display with a decent 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It has a wide 16:10 aspect ratio, an acceptable Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and quad speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Powering the device is a midrange Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Software is handled by the latest Android 14-based HyperOS.
Keeping the lights on is an enormous 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

For the cameras, we have an 8-megapixel sensor in front and back, with the one on the top of the screen sporting an ultra-wide lens that is great for video conferences and presentations.
Xiaomi also made the tablet work with a stylus and a keyboard case, which will be sold separately.

The Redmi Pad Pro starts at CNY1,499 (~Php11,700) for the 6GB/128GB model. There’s also a Harry Potter Edition, similar to the Redmi Turbo 3, with an 8GB/256GB configuration for a price of CNY2,999 (~Php23,400). It will be available in China come April 15, while release details in other markets are yet to be known.
