Redmi has unveiled its latest addition to the smartphone market: the Redmi Turbo 3. This new model marks the debut of their Turbo series, positioning itself between the existing Redmi K and Note collections.

The Redmi Turbo 3 is particularly noteworthy as it’s one of the initial offerings to incorporate Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, designed for devices that offer high-end performance at a more accessible price point.

For starters, it boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,712 x 1,220 pixels, HDR10+ and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The display supports 12-bit color depth, HDR10+ for enhanced contrast, and has an impressive peak brightness of 2,400 nits for better visibility in different lighting conditions. For security, it has an under-display optical fingerprint scanner in addition to face unlock.

An additional 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide sensor is also on the back for flexibility. In front, there’s a 20-megapixel selfie camera inside the punch-hole.

Performance-wise, the Redmi Turbo 3 doesn’t skimp on power, offering configurations with 12GB or 16GB of the latest LPDDR5X RAM and ample storage options ranging from 256GB to a massive 1TB UFS 4.0. The device runs on Android 14, skinned with Xiaomi‘s HyperOS. Keeping the lights on is a big 5,000mAh battery, which supports 90W fast charging to minimize downtime.
