Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A52s 5G, which fixes a couple of the problems that the Galaxy A52 had.
The Galaxy A52 5G is a fine phone, however, it’s using an aging Snapdragon 750G processor. That’s something that the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G fixes, which now comes with a more powerful Snapdragon 778G 6nm chipset with a more capable Adreno 642L GPU for gaming and X53 5G modem for ultra-fast web browsing.
Another big upgrade is charging. The Galaxy A52 5G did support 25W charging but only came with a 15W charger in the box. This time, the Galaxy A52s 5G both support and comes with a 25W charger.
Other than the chipset and charger, everything else is the same. There’s the vibrant AMOLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole for the 32-megapixel selfie camera, and a quad-camera setup on the back led by a 64-megapixel main shooter and 12-megapixel ultra-wide.
The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G has a starting price of EUR410 (around Php24,200). It will be available in select markets on September 3 with pre-orders starting August 24. Hopefully, it will arrive in the Philippines soon, too.
