Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A73 5G and A53 5G, and they will be immediately available in the Philippines.
First, let’s take a look at the fanciest of the two, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G. This one boasts an enormous 6.7-inch Super AMOLED with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it’s powered by a 5G-equipped Snapdragon 778G processor.
One of the main upgrades is seen in the camera department. It now comes with a sharp 108-megapixel camera, versus its predecessor’s 64-megapixel shooter. What’s more, it’s equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS).
There’s also the 12-megapixel ultra-wide, 5-megapixel macro lens, and 5-megapixel depth sensor, all of which have sharper sensors than most of the competition.
The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G has a price of Php27,990 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Php29,990 for the 8GB/256GB. There’s also a cheaper 6GB/128GB option for Php26,990 as an online exclusive release. It will be available starting April 22.

Next stop, we have the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. Like the former, it also has 5G connectivity and OIS. It’s powered by an Exynos 1280 from Samsung themselves, has a 64-megapixel main shooter, and the same 8-megapixel ultra-wide, two 5-megapixel sensors, and 32-megapixel selfie snapper.
It also has the same 5,000mAh battery, 25W fast charging, 120Hz refresh rate, albeit a smaller 6.5-inch screen.
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is available in stores for Php23,490 and Php25,490 for the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB, respectively. There’s also an affordable 6GB/128GB variant for Php22,990 which is only sold online.
