Samsung just unveiled the new Galaxy S23 FE, skipping the S22 FE, and features a powerful processor, upgraded cameras, and eco-friendly materials.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will apparently come in two chipset options, both are flagships from the last generation. The US market is said to be getting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 model while the rest of us will have the Exynos 2200. Whatever model you get will have an 8GB of RAM but you do have an option between 128GB and 256GB of storage.
On the front, we have a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLEX 2x panel from Samsung with an FHD+ resolution and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
It ships with a 25W wired charging for the relatively small 4,500mAh battery, which also has support for wireless charging.
For the cameras, we have a 50-megapixel main shooter with optical image stabilization (OIS), joined by an odd 10-megapixel ultra-wide lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto. There’s a 10-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies.
Samsung is also boasting about how the phone is made out of eco-friendly materials such as reused aluminum for the frame, glass, and plastic. The screen is made of Corning while the whole body is IP68-rated for being dust and water-resistant.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be available in India starting October 7 with a price of INR59,990 (~Php40,800) for the 8GB/128GB and INR64,990 (~Php44,200) for the 8GB/256GB. Release details in the Philippines are yet to be known.
