Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S26 FE, a much cheaper alternative to its current flagship line.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is powered by an Exynos 2500 processor, a powerful chip found on last year’s Galaxy Z Flip. It is available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage — all with the same 8GB of RAM.
On the front, there’s a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display, with a 120Hz refresh rate and a decent 1900-nit peak brightness. Like other Samsung phones, it has a smaller battery than its peers. It’s a 4,900mAh capacity with 45W wired and 15W reverse wireless charging.
For the cameras, there’s a 50-megapixel main shooter on the back, joined by an 8-megapixel 3x telephoto, 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and 12-megapixel on the front for selfies.
It will also feature Samsung’s Horizon Lock, which can magically keep videos looking level even if the phone rotates 360 degrees. The FanCam feature, introduced on the Galaxy Z 8 foldables, is also here.
The device ships with the latest Android 17-based One UI 9, with many AI features. Samsung promised it will receive 7 years of OS updates and security patches.
