The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 have been made official. Knowing how these two devices got their own dedicated launch event shows that there was a strong response toward foldable phones in the market.
First, let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, which retains a similar form factor as its predecessor. It still has a tablet-like foldable screen, which uses a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel. A similar screen is found on the outside, only it’s at 6.2-inches.

Under the hood, it is powered by none other than a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. The right match for a smartphone of this caliber.
This chipset is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB of expandable storage. The battery has a 4,400mAh capacity with all the charging technology: 25W for wired, 15W for wireless, as well as reverse wireless charging to top-up your accessories.

For the full tablet-like experience, the display has support for Samsung’s own stylus, the S-Pen. It comes with a special case where you can put the stylus on.
Samsung also brought a couple of improvements to the hardware. It now has a more durable hinge and an armour aluminum frame for improved protection from drops and scratches.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a starting price of Php98,990 for the 12GB/256GB variant while the 12GB/512GB is at Php105,990. There’s also a whopping 12GB/1TB variant that’s exclusively sold at samsung.com for Php119,990.
