Starmobile just unveiled their new android phone on their Facebook page yesterday. Starmobile Diamond is their latest flagship smartphone to take on other local giants and as far as specs go, it’s a very capable player. However, knowing their pricing strategy, it’s not surprising that they will offer it with a high price tag.

The Starmobile Diamond has a 5-inch HD (1280×720) IPS Dragon Trail Glass Display, 1GHz Dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, and Android Jelly Bean pre-installed. It terms of camera prowess, it has a 12-megapixel BSI (Back-Illuminated-Sensor) autofocus main camera with LED flash and a 3-megapixel front-facing camera. As you can see, it’s almost of the same configuration as the Cherry Mobile Omega HD with very little differences.
