TECNO Mobile subtly introduced the Pop 5 LTE by listing it on its official Shopee Philippines page.
The Shopee listing didn’t reveal the exact numbers in some of the specs, but we have enough to shape expectations. For one, the TECNO Pop 5 LTE is said to have an unnamed octa-core chipset, which could possibly be from UNISOC.
It also has an unknown Android version, which could possibly be at least Android 10 or a Go Edition version. The charging speed was not mentioned, too, but it does use a microUSB port to fill up its decent 5,000mAh battery.
What’s clear is that it comes with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a standard 6.52-inch HD+ 720p screen, a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies, an 8-megapixel main shooter joined by an AI sensor, Face Unlock, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, as well as software-level extras like AI camera app and Game Assistant.
On the upside, it has a quite distinct design with the bold TECNO logo, a vertical line adjacent to the dual-camera setup on the top, and comes in Deep Sea Luster and Ice Blue.
The TECNO Pop 5 LTE has a price of Php4,599 in Shopee and comes with a free DITO SIM with 10GB of data, unlimited texts to all networks, unli calls to DITO, 300 mins calls to other networks, and a validity of 30 days. It’s also available in tons of physical stores and retailers nationwide.
