TECNO Mobile’s latest big-display, big-battery phone has been launched in the Philippines. Here’s the new POVA Neo 2, which is priced just below Php10,000.
The new TECNO POVA Neo 2 boasts a gigantic 7,000mAh battery that should last you for days. There’s also the enormous 6.82-inch screen with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate for an immersive viewing experience and gives a lot of room for multitasking.
But being an entry-level device, the display only has an HD+ pixel resolution and only charges via an 18W adapter.
Under the hood, it is powered by a gaming-entric MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor, paired with 128GB of internal storage, and 6GB of RAM which can get an extra boost by borrowing 5GB from the storage.
It then has 16-megapixel cameras in front and back, with the one on the rear gaining an extra 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Software is handled by the Android 12-based HiOS 8.6 from TECNO Mobile. It then has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. All these features are wrapped inside a body with an edgy design.
The TECNO Pova Neo 2 is now on Lazada Philippines with an SRP of Php9,999. But currently, it’s discounted to Php6,799.
