vivo’s latest phone in China looks a lot like the iPhone Air. Meet the new vivo S50 Pro mini.
Launched alongside the S50, the vivo S50 Pro mini has the same 6,500mAh battery, 50-megapixel main camera, 50-megapixel telephoto, and 8-megapixel ultra-wide. Both phones ship with Android 16-based OriginOS 6.
What sets it apart is the vertical camera island on the back. Plus, it’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor.
They share identical display specs with their FHD+ AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, but the S50 Pro mini is smaller and more compact at 6.31 inches (vs 6.59 inches).
The vivo S50 Pro mini has a starting price of CNY3,699 (~Php30,700) and comes in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/512GB models. Release details in markets like the Philippines are yet to be known.
