The new vivo Y29T has been introduced, and it looks like many of the vivo phones we’ve already seen before.
Its distinct camera layout looks a lot like the Y400 Pro, V50 Lite, Y29s 5G, and more. That camera island holds the vivo Y29T‘s 50-megapixel main shooter, a 0.08-megapixel shooter (possibly a depth sensor), and an LED flash that’s apparently now 10x brighter.

A 5-megapixel sensor is on the front for selfies. It sits on top of the 6.74-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
vivo also highlights its extensive durability, receiving an SGS 5-star rating, passing MIL-STD-810H tests, and IP64 dust and water resistance. It also has what vivo calls “Comprehensive Cushioning Structure.”

Easily, its big new feature is the 6,000mAh battery vivo claims can last for more than 22.9 hours of watching YouTube and more than 26 hours of Spotify. It can also retain at least 80% of its battery health even after 5 years or 1,600 charging cycles.
Finally, powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage.

The vivo Y29T is now listed in Malaysia with a price of MYR1,099 (~Php14,700). vivo is yet to confirm if it’s coming to other markets.
