A new member of the Y29 series from vivo has come out through its global website, the vivo Y29s 5G.
The vivo Y29s 5G has a clean design similar to other vivo phones we’ve already seen in the past. The sleek vertical camera island holds the 50-megapixel main shooter, a VGA lens prolly for color sensing, and a flash that vivo claims is 10x brighter.

For selfies, there’s a 5-megapixel sensor sitting on top of the 6.74-inch IPS display with a high 90Hz refresh rate but an HD+ resolution.
Keeping the lights on is a large 5,500mAh battery, which can supposedly last for up to 5 years as it’s rated for 1600 charge cycles. 15W wired charging is included.

Powering the device is a 5G-equipped MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor, with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
It ships with Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. vivo also highlights its IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and MIL-STD-810H certification for drop resistance.

Pricing and availability details for the vivo Y29s 5G are yet to be announced, so stay tuned for that.
