The ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro, together with the fancier Phone 9 Pro Edition, has been officially launched in the Philippines.
First introduced in November 2024, the ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro was upgraded to the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core processor, with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, while the Phone 9 Pro Edition comes with a 24GB/1TB configuration.
It also has improved cooling thanks to the 57% bigger graphite sheet and works with the AeroCase cooling accessory. The Phone 9 Pro Edition will come with the AeroActive Cooler X Pro which adds a subwoofer to the whole audio setup.
On the back, we have ASUS’s AniMe Vision, a grid of mini-LED’s that shows customized animations. A packed 6.78-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED screen is on the front, with a whopping 1-185Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Keeping the lights on is a 5,800mAh non-removable battery, with support for 65W wired and 15W wireless charging.
For the cameras, we have a 50-megapixel LYTIA-700 sensor from Sony that has 6-axis gimbal stabilization. There’s also a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 32-megapixel 3x telephoto lens, and another 32-megapixel in the front for selfies.
The ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro 16GB/512GB/Phantom Black retails for Php62,995, while the ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition 24GB/1TB/Phantom Black with an AeroActive Cooler X Pro retails for Php76,995.
They are now available at physical stores nationwide and through Home Credit via a 12-month 0% installment plan. ROG Chill case and ROG Antibacterial Glass Screen protector all worth Php3,990 are also included for the early-bird bundle.
