vivo has announced a new member of the Y-series, the vivo Y78T, which carries a large battery, fast charging, and smooth display.
The new vivo Y78t comes with a 6,000mAh battery, larger than the average 5,000mAh capacity we see in most phones today. It is paired with a 44W fast charger.
There’s a large 6.64-inch IPS display on the front, which has a sharp FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. An 8-megapixel selfie camera is on top, peeking from a punch-hole cutout.
On the back, we have a clean design with a large, glass-like camera is land for the 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a pill-shaped LED flash.
It then has a capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 octa-core processor, which you can get with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage.
Since it is coming out of China, the Y78T will ship with Android 13-based OriginOS 3.0 operating system.
The vivo Y78T has a price of CNY1,199 (~Php9,300) for the 8GB/128GB, CNY1,299 (~Php10,100) for the 8GB/256GB, and CNY1,499 (~Php11,600) for the 12GB/256GB. Release details in other markets are yet to be known.
