Xiaomi has finally unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 14 series, which is the first to have the brand’s all-new HyperOS that replaces MIUI.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro now has a flat metal side, with a glossy mirror finish. There’s a beefy camera island with a fancy metal bezel. It houses an all-new 50-megapixel “Light Hunter 900” sensor with a special Leica Summilux lens.
This special 23mm lens has a variable aperture that can go from f/1.42 to f/4.0. This makes it 80% brighter than the 13 Pro, which makes up for the 44% smaller sensor.
It is joined by a floating telephoto lens with a 75mm equivalent as well as a 50-megapixel sensor with a 14mm ultra-wide lens that also works for macro shots.
On the front, we have a 6.73-inch LTPO OLED display with a high 120Hz refresh rate, with an ultra-bright 3,000-nits of brightness, and protected by the brand’s own Xiaomi Longjing Glass.
It is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is made of a 4nm TSMC process. You can get it with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It then has a 4,880mAh battery, with 120W wired, and 50W wireless charging.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro comes in 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB configurations for a price of CNY4,999 (~Php38,900), CNY5,499 (~Php42,700), CNY5,999 (~Php46,600).

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 14 looks fairly identical to its predecessor, which already had flat sides. It also kept the same 6.36-inch size, with a fancy 2670 x 1200 LTPO OLED panel, high 120Hz refresh rate, and 3,000-nits peak brightness.
It uses the same primary sensor, but the lens has a fixed aperture of f/1.6. Xiaomi uses the same 75mm floating telephoto lens, while the 50-megapixel 14mm ultra-wide may lack AF for macro shots.
The CPU is the same as well as 50W wireless charging, albeit the battery is smaller at 4,610mAh and wired charging is slower at 90W.
Both models will run on Android 14-based HyperOS, which replaces MIUI and Xiaomi’s attempt to unify different screen sizes with a single interface.
The Xiaomi 14 comes in 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB configurations for a price of CNY3,999 (~Php31,100), CNY4,299 (~Php33,400), CNY4,599 (~Php35,700), and CNY4,999 (~Php38,900), respectively. They’re now up for pre-order in China, with the global release details yet to be announced.
