Xiaomi recently held a big event in China with its CEO Lei Jun presenting. It showcased a couple of flagship non-smartphone products, including its biggest tablet to date, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max 14.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max 14 is the company’s take on other ultra-large tablets in the market like the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. Similar to Samsung’s biggest tablet, this one is also Xiaomi‘s largest touchscreen to date with its 14-inch display.

This 14-inch display uses an IPS panel with a 2880 x 1800 pixel resolution, has 10-bit color, HDR10 support, Dolby Vision, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Of course, it comes with a high 120Hz refresh rate for smoothness.
A large display is nothing without beefy speakers to complete the experience. Thankfully, the Pad 6 Max 14 has one, thanks to its eight speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

That display setup is similar to the smaller 11-inch Pad 6 Pro. It even shares the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which you can pair with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
It ships with Android 13-based MIUI Pad 14. The new tablet also works well with an optional stylus that has a 5ms latency that’s sold separately for CNY499 (~Php3,900) and a special detachable keyboard case for CNY799 (~Php6,200).

But having a bigger screen means that it also needs a larger display. The Max 14 has a 10,000mAh battery, which the company claims can last for up to two days.
Charging is done by a 67W adapter, which may look nothing compared to the battery that needs to charge but could still impressively fill it up to 100% in 68 minutes. What’s interesting is, it has a fast 33W reverse charging so you can use it like a power bank with other devices.

The device also has a pretty impressive camera setup. There’s a really sharp 50-megapixel main camera on the back, joined by a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
On the front, there’s a 20-megapixel selfie camera, which should be great for video calls thanks to the 4-microphone array that can do single-person voice pickup focus or full 360 degrees for conferences. There’s also an LED light next to the selfie camera to let you know it’s in use. It

The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max 14 is available in 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB variants for a price of CNY3,799 (~Php29,700), CNY3,999 (~Php31,200), CNY4,399 (~Php34,400), and CNY4,799 (~Php37,500), respectively.
