ZTE subtly announced a new midrange phone in China called the ZTE V70.

Much like its unveiling, the ZTE V70 feels like a pretty straightforward device. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

A decent 6.67-inch AMOLED screen is in the front, with an FHD+ pixel resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole for the 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Around the back, there’s a clean camera island that holds the 64-megapixel main shooter, a usable 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro camera.

What we really appreciate is the flagship-level 66W wired fast charging for the 5,100mAh battery. Sadly, it will ship with the old Android 11 version for some reason, with ZTE’s MyOS 11.5 interface on top.

The official price and availability for the ZTE V70 haven’t been announced, possibly because it’s rumored to be exclusive to business and government customers.
