Epson’s EcoTank series has just expanded with the addition of the L3550 and L5590 model printers. These updated products were designed for higher printing speed and greater durability, giving home and office users a more premium experience with their printing needs.
With black/color printing speeds that reach up to 15/8 ipm, the updated models offer a lower printing time that can only be attributed to the upgraded PrecisionCore Print Head.
In addition to its faster printing speed compared to previous EcoTank models, the new models are also significantly more durable, as well. Confident in the longevity of its latest creations, Epson is giving consumers a warranty of up to 2 years, which is equivalent to 50,000 pages of printing.
With sustainability in mind, the L3550 and L5590 use less energy than laser technology as heat is not a factor in the printing process. This is credited to the Epson Heat-Free technology. Furthermore, both printers are made using 30 percent recycled plastics and consume 84 percent less ink compared to inkjet printers. Even the cardboard used for either of the two products’ packaging is made of 80 percent recycled material.
Having a replaceable maintenance box, the new additions offer a convenient solution to reduced downtime as the users are handed the solution directly to them.
In giving the users complete control over their printing requirements, the Epson EcoTank L3550 printer comes with a panel for a plethora of options, including printing size. Made for connectivity, the printer gets smart printing features by connecting to Mopria, Airprint, and Epson Smart Panel. Using the latter, users get direct access to handy features, such as remote On/Off, scanning, printing, and copying, all while getting up-to-date information on printer operations and ink level.
