Sony just announced two new television models that use a different kind of lighting technology. The company calls them True RGB TVs, and they are built around red, green, and blue LED backlights that work independently from one another.
The top of the line model is called the Sony Bravia 9 II, while the more budget friendly version is the Sony Bravia 7 II. Both are Mini LED TVs, but Sony says the new RGB setup gives them cleaner looking colors, less halo effect around bright objects, and higher peak brightness than normal Mini LED screens.

Here is the basic idea of how it works. Instead of using white light behind the screen, these TVs use separate red, green, and blue lights. That is why Sony calls them True RGB. The company also says you can expect good viewing angles from both models.
Both televisions come with a feature called Voice Zoom 3. This uses AI to make voices and dialogue easier to hear. They also sit on a slim, clear stand that makes the TV look like it is floating.

As the name suggests, the Sony Bravia 9 II is the more expensive option. It has the best backlight control and the most accurate colors, especially in rooms with a lot of sunlight. It also includes a special anti glare layer called Immersive Black Screen Pro. This helps keep blacks looking deep even when you watch during the day. For sound, it has small upward firing speakers on top that Sony says deliver a more theater like experience.
The Bravia 7 II costs less and comes in more sizes. It starts at 50 inches, while the flagship model starts at 65 inches.

Both televisions support Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and IMAX Enhanced. They also include preset picture modes for Netflix, Prime Video, and Sony Pictures Core.
The Bravia 9 II is available in four screen sizes. The 65 inch version sells for $3,599(~Php221,600). The 75-inch costs $4,599(~Php283,000). The 85-inch is priced at $6,499(~Php400,100). And the extra large 115-inch model goes for $30,999(~Php1,908,700).
