Mini LED TVs are starting to reach more markets as TCL launches the Q9L Pro QD-Mini LED TVs, which sport impressive features at more reasonable prices.
The TCL Q9L Pro QD-Mini LED TV series comes in four large sizes: 55 inches, 65 inches, 75 inches, 85 inches, and a ginormous 98 inches. They feature the brand’s Butterfly Star Screen, which combines HVA panel tech and a dual-layer anti-reflective film that dramatically reduces glare to just 0.5%.

It also has TCL’s Omni-Zone local dimming system with 720 zones for the 55-inch model and reaches up to 3456 zones for the largest model. Screen brightness also improves as you go bigger, as it starts with 3000 nits and goes up to 4500 nits. The contrast ratio is 7000:1.
The Quantum Dot Pro technology offers 98% DCI-P3 color coverage with XDR brightness. TCL also promises the Q9L Pro series’ panels has a 100,000-hour lifespan. All models have a 4K resolution, with the 144Hz refresh rate able to extend up to 288Hz for smoother frames in action scenes and games.

Powering the TVs is a 12nm quad-core A73 processor with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a Mali-G57 MC1 GPU. Port selection consists of four HDMI 2.1. FreeSync Premium Pro is also supported. You also get a 2.1.2-channel Onkyo audio system if you get the 65-inch model or bigger.
The TCL Q9L Pro 55-inch model retails for only CNY4,299 (~Php34,300). The 65-inch comes in at CNY5,999 (~Php48,000), 75-inch at CNY7,499 (~Php60,000), and 85-inch at CNY9,999 (~Php80,000), while the 98-inch model comes in at just CNY16,999 (~Php136,000).
