Xiaomi has introduced a cheaper model of its projector line, the Xiaomi Projector Youth Edition 2S.
The Xiaomi Projector Youth Edition 2S has a native 1080p resolution and HDR10+ support. It has an LED light source with up to 500 ANSI lumens brightness. Xiaomi claims that it can project a screen that’s 60-inch to 120-inch in size with a 1.2 throw ratio.

Like most Xiaomi screens, the 2S has MEMC motion smoothing technology. Plus, an AI image improvement feature for better quality, no matter the content source. You can also adjust the display quality with keystone correction, and autofocus, and it even has intelligent avoidance tools.
Xiaomi also threw in two 1.75-inch 5W speakers with Dolby Audio support. Connectivity features include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, as well as HDMI inputs, USB 3.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The wireless connectivity lets you screen share content from your mobile device, do voice commands with Xiao AI, and pair with other devices with the Mijia smart home ecosystem. The smart features were made possible by the 0.23-inch DMD chip with Amlogic T982 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage for apps.
Those who are in China can get the Xiaomi Projector Youth Edition 2S for a price of CNY2,399 (~Php18,400). Release details in other markets are yet to be announced.
